super idiotic
fuck. it's 2010 and i suppose that means i am obligated to post "experimental dubstep" tracks and subtitle them with proclamations of their mould-breaking and genre-bending tendencies. I'm not really down. Almost as soon as the new year rolled around and "Hyph Mango" was hailed as some sort of divine sending to the world of dubstep, the style tripped over its feet and collapsed into a pile of heartless productions and blog saturation. So now what happens when the once holy Joy Orbison releases something new? nothing really. the track is listened to once or twice, then discarded into the same pile that houses the 3000th balkan/tribal/tech/latin/african/shit house track, and the latest afrojack ringtone. pretty sad. so what do i post now?
